DIANA SOFRONIEVA

Born on 18th June 1960, single.
Completed the Secondary School of Fine Arts.
Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia in the major Graphics.
Works in the field of illustration, book design, posters, graphics (surface and deep printing, woodcarving, lithography).
She has been painting for the last 15 years - oil and tempera on canvas or pastel. The main genres in her paintings are: portrait, landscape, naked body, still life.
She has participated in common fine arts exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad and also has 6 individual exhibitions in Sofia, Sevlievo and Bratislava.
The main theme in her pictures are the gypsies (images and subjects from the gypsies' life).
